Connect With Your Core

connection

Get to it, to the core, to the heart of you.

What’s there, longing to be brought forth?

Step into the silence that surrounds you in these moments, the bliss of these words, the purity of a heart at peace. Step into it.

Why are you so afraid to reside here?

Do you not feel worthy enough to let go of the past?

To give yourself another chance?

To love yourself again?

Whenever you are unsure, go to your core, and feel at peace with where you are and with who you are.

Allow yourself to meet the moment.

Indulge in it.

It’s being offered to you right now.

What stops you from frequenting this place of peace?

From finding relief from the thoughts that plague you?

Perhaps you don’t know that underneath it all – you are alright.

Now you know.

Underneath all the drama – you are alright.

You are your true self.

You are whole.

The distractions are a veil, but underneath that veil is the real you at peace, in love, on fire, in tune, open, receptive, and worthy of being seen.

Discover that part of your being.

It is with you forever.

Blending Our Sexual Nature w/ Spirituality – Can It Be Done?

We are sexual creatures by nature.

By sexual, I don’t mean that we go around sleeping with a bunch of people. When I say sexual, I mean creative, indulgent, sensual creatures. I am not just referring to the act of physical sex.

I find my self struggling sometimes with being sexual by nature, and then in my work being “spiritual”.

I think sometimes we equate spirituality with sacrifice, giving, nurturing others, and being submissive.

We rarely equate spirituality with the flow of receiving, indulging, and accepting.

The problem that it creates, is one where you find yourself giving, giving, and giving, and then when it comes time to receive the other side of the flow – you find yourself blocked. Sexual energy in totality is not just about giving and creating, it is also about receiving and enjoying.

I am sensual, I am deep, I love intimacy, but something about that approach to say “my work” feels wrong to me (too personal, too open, and too much sharing).

There is a part of myself that is afraid to share in my work because I might appear to be “too open” or “too out there” in my thoughts or my methods of sharing.

In other words, I feel like I can’t be the full “me”.

I find myself denying a very intimate part of my nature because I am in the spiritual field.

With the intuitive work that I do, I believe that I am required to have a level of openness that can really penetrate to the core of people, but what do you do when you feel like you have to cover that very sensual and private part of yourself because you are in the “spiritual business”.

I guess I am just trying to sort some thoughts out here.

I think to some, my energy comes across as awkward or mysterious. It might come across that way because I really do want those soul-shaking conversations, deep thoughts, and intimacy in my work, but there is a part of me that also holds back because I feel that level of intimacy should not be touched in “spiritual work”.

Does anyone relate to what I am speaking about?

Any thoughts?

Who’s Your “Yes”?

Yes!

Have you ever come across an individual whose presence and work just speaks to your soul?

If so, that person is your “YES”.

Your “YES” is a person that gives you permission to be yourself. Why? Because that person is a walking, living, breathing example of the kind of person you want to be. His or her artistry inspires you and makes you feel alive.

Think about it for a moment. What kind of person do you really want to be? What speaks to your soul? Besides the fancy cars, shoes, and other glittery things – what do you desire deep within you? What are your core values?

Security? Freedom? A Place To Call Home? Connection?

Sometimes we don’t even know what we truly desire until another comes along showing us exactly what our “YES” is.

So I want to know, who’s your “Yes”?

Who’s an example of the kind of person you want to be, has the life you want to live, and inspires you to the depths of your soul?

I met a person today, and when I say met – I mean that my intuition led me to Danielle LaPorte’s website. This entire post was inspired by one #truthbomb that she had on her website.

My soul was then struck by two more #truthbombs.

My spirit just jumped for joy! I scrolled through the rest of her #truthbombs, and I couldn’t believe what I had found. I mean her presence, her demeanor, her depth, her passion, and everything rang right through me. It was as if the heavens opened up and sang “ahhhhhhhh”. Let me tell you something – if you haven’t been to her website – you need to go. After you’re done reading this post of course (hahahaha).

After I clicked through each of her sections in awe, I settled down and thought to myself – I am, what I found. Her passion, her insight, her wisdom, her beauty, and her grace – all of those things are within me. I desire to strike someone’s spirit the way that she struck mine.
