Can You Believe 2016 Is Almost Over?
It flew by ~ for me. How about you?
I look at my son nowadays and ask myself, where did the time go? He’s two years old already! It feels like just yesterday I was headed to the hospital to give birth to him. It’s been two years, and he’s grown so much.
It also feels like “we blinked” and this year was over.

Something may have gotten lost a long time ago, and you can’t quite put your finger on what it is. Are you trying to fit in & living by other people’s standards? If so, you may have lost your sense of Who You Are, but don’t worry – I got you! Here are 10 Ways To Realign With Your True Self.
I consider myself a loyal person.
That’s why when my sister called to tell me she was going into labor, I was in the car quicker than she could finish her sentence.
When I went into labor, I expected the same treatment.
I expected her to drop everything just like I did. I expected her bags to be packed (just like mine), and for her to be willing to stay the night, if that’s what I needed from her, but she didn’t.
She instead decided that showing up for work was more important. I, of course, was hurt. I felt like I didn’t matter enough to her for her to drop what she was doing to see me through that time in my life, but my perception was wrong.
I didn’t notice that my perception was off until I was sitting in my hospital room and I noticed how peaceful it was.
My hubby was breathing and preparing himself for the arrival of our son and the nurses were quietly walking in and out to monitor the baby’s heartbeat and mine. As I sat there in peace, I noticed the perfection of the moment.
I noticed that what I thought I wanted and what I really wanted, were two very different things.
I really wanted my son’s birth to be between me, my significant other, and the earth angels (the doctors and nurses), that were called to bring him into the world.
I realized that I didn’t want or need anyone else to be there, but the one who had seen me at my most vulnerable and that knew how important the birth of my son was to me.
I also realized how important it was for my significant other to have his privacy as well. You see, he had lost a child from a previous relationship, and this was a very momentous and somewhat frightening occasion for him as well.
The universe had lined up circumstances and events that led me and my significant other to what we really wanted and not to what we thought we wanted. God saw the bigger picture. God knew that I wouldn’t want my sister’s job to be in jeopardy and also knew that I didn’t want anyone in the room that would be worried or resentful for being there.
The birth of my son was perfect.
The people that were supposed to be there – were there, and it turned out better than I could have imagined. I just needed to let go of the idea that something was going wrong, and open to the fact that things were really working in my favor.
So if you are going through something right now that doesn’t seem to be working out the way that you had planned, just realize that you are on your way to something better. You are in good hands and you are being guided to your heart’s real desire and not just to what you think you desire.

Manifestation can be a lot of fun, but it can also piss you off if you take it too seriously.
For those of you that don’t know what manifestation is, it’s the process of attracting what you desire into your life. The process basically is supposed to work like this:
You have a thought, desire, or concept in mind.
That thought or concept creates an energy stream.
That energy stream begins to flow in your direction if it’s not interrupted.
After awhile, you start to see the evidence of that thought, concept, or desire show up in your life as a physical thing or as a new experience.
It really is supposed to be that simple, but we contradict it with our negative thoughts, our negative attitude, or our controlling nature. Sometimes we try to will things into being, instead of just allowing it to make its way to us.
That’s when manifestation gets annoying.
You don’t see the evidence of the things you desire, so you start to get discouraged about your ability to create.
Here is a fun way to see your connection to manifestation. It’s a simple game, and I would love to hear about your results.
Take out a piece of paper and a pencil.
Write down 3 random things that you would like to see throughout your day.
Don’t think too much about it.
Just write down 3 things that seem to spark excitement in you.
Fold up the piece of paper and put it in your wallet or purse.
Let go of your attachment to how those things will show themselves to you. Just go about your day and be easy about the process.
Throughout that day you will see the manifestation magic. You will see at least one if not all of the things on your list. It’s so fun when it makes its way into your conscious awareness because it hits you as a big AHA. You may even laugh to yourself when you realize that what you wrote down actually found you, and showed itself to you.
Be easy about it. Don’t try some big thing just yet. Remember the purpose of this experiment is to get your creative muscles working. If you try too hard, you will be disappointed because your belief won’t match your desire. So make it something small and silly.
For example if you wrote down, I want to see a hot air balloon, my favorite dog, or a pink car, those are things that are a little odd, but that you don’t have that much resistance towards. Remember to have fun and write down the first 3 things that spark excitement and fun within you.
My sister tried this experiment.
One of the 3 things that she wrote down was that she would like to see her favorite color (purple). She was a little bit skeptical, and thought to herself, but I see it all the time and I don’t know how I would see it in a way that would be special.
She decided to stick with it though. She wrote it down, and then she went on about her day. The next morning she was getting ready for work, and she was in her shower just thinking about the previous day.
She thought about the list that I showed her and then all of asudden she looked around her shower and every single item in the shower and around her was purple. Her sponge, the body wash, the shaving cream, the soap, everything!
She called me right away cracking up. She always had all that stuff in there, but she had never seen it in the way that she did that morning. She almost fell out because she realized that it worked.
I was so excited that she could see her connection to the playful energy.

Spring is my favorite season.
To me, it symbolizes letting go of the old and inviting the new. It’s a time of renewed faith, hope, blossoming, and fruition.
To invite the energy of this new season, I thought it would be nice to create a 7 step process that will help you open to receive the newness that this beautiful season has to offer.
It’s all about letting go of your past perceived failures and flaws, and opening up to the newness that is trying to make its way into your experience.
So here are 7 steps that will help point you in the right direction of manifesting newness into your life.
In order to welcome the new, you must clear out any old or preconceived notions that you have about yourself or your ability to create in your life. You may have been creating by default before, or you may not have given yourself permission to fully dream and let go, but now is the time. Drop any ideas about yourself that do not support the state of being that you would like to reside in.
2. Realign With Your Heart’s Desire
What is it that you really want? It’s okay to say it. It’s okay to acknowledge that you may need help around the house, you may want more money, or to live more comfortably. You may want to reside in a place with warmer climate or attract a new mate. Whatever it is, don’t be ashamed of it. Take this moment to declare what you want. Write it down. Acknowledge it as sacred, and know that because it is a true heart’s desire, it can make its way to you.
3. Understand That There Is A Path
Everything that you really desire has a way of making itself to you. The most beneficial state of being to be in is one of expectation. Understand that there is a path available for you to get what you really desire. You may not see it right this moment, but just the acknowledgment of the path is a start. It’s a welcoming state, and helps you let go of resistance.
4. Pay Attention To The Signs
Your work is not to make things happen. Your work is to acknowledge when you are on the path to it. When people come out of nowhere and start talking about the thing that you desire, smile and know that that’s a sign that you are on the path to it. Pay attention to any flashes of insight that you receive. Pay attention to your intuition and any strong urges that you might receive to move in the direction of something.
The thing that you desire – desires you too, and it’s a natural thing for you to create. It’s just that you may not have consciously been aware of your power to determine what you want for your life, and actually get it.
You just have to pay attention to the signs that are leading you to it. Try to relax and play with this part, and just let the signs come to you. When you try to get too involved you mess up the playfulness of things.
5. Surround Yourself With Things That Support Your Desire
Try to keep yourself in a good mood no matter what. Surround yourself with people who are doing what you love to do. Go to the places that support your dream, or write about what it will feel like once you achieve your dream. Try to do things that support your dream.
That means staying in a good mood and knowing that you can achieve it, even if the way hasn’t shown itself to you yet. Try to remain positive about the outcome. Here is a simple meditation that will help you align with positivity.
When you keep yourself in a positive state of being, you are more open to receiving the signs quicker. You are tuned into the messages that are trying to reveal themselves to you when you are open and receptive.
6. Give Freely Without The Expectation Of Receiving
I know this is difficult for some people, but try to just give without the expectation that you will receive something in return. Think of all the times you needed guidance, or wished something special would happen to you. What if you started creating those kind of experiences for other people?
They say that you get what you give, and if you create beautiful experiences for others, the quicker you are able to attract those same kinds of circumstances into your own experience.
7. Have Fun
Play around with things. Ease up. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Sometimes we get so frustrated when it seems like things aren’t going our way, but I am here to tell you that frustration just keeps you stuck in the cycle. Try to ease up a little bit. You are going to be okay. You will have what you really desire one way or another. Let’s just try to consciously create rather than having things happen by default. It’s beautiful when you feel your connection to all that’s around you.

A few years back, I went to a park near my house to clear my head. I had my blanket stretched out across the grass, and had brought along a book to read and some soothing music to listen to. I was lying down with my nose in the book when I felt this weird presence behind me.
There was a path right next to the patch of grass that I was lying in, and two people were strolling down the path.
When I turned around to look in their direction, I just felt something very eerie. The gentlemen and the female that was with him didn’t look like they were from around my neighborhood. I had been to that park many times, and had seen many different people, and something about them just didn’t sit right with me.
I calmed myself down and continued to read my book, as they walked past me.
The guy turned around and gave me a cold stare that sent chills down my spine, and then he looked around to see who else was in the park.
At that point, I got very nervous, and something told me that the couple didn’t mean any good. I looked around to see how far my car was parked and to estimate if I could get away, if they came back or tried something.
I saw the couple stop not too far away from where I was, and they kept looking over at me, and then around the park again to see who else was around.
A group of people that were playing basketball was the last group there, and the two waited at the end of the path until the group of people got into their cars and were about to drive off.
My anxiety at that point went into overdrive, and I started to panic. I could get up at that moment and try to make it to my car or I could stick around to see what the two suspicious acting people were up to.
I looked at the car again as the couple kept looking in my direction and waiting for all of the cars to leave the parking lot. I could tell that as soon as the people left, they were planning on doing something – I just didn’t know what. I had my purse with me, my laptop computer, and an expensive phone. Who knows what they were going to do.
I felt a calm come over me as several dozen birds flew to the trees next to me. I can’t explain it, I just felt calmer. I thought one last time about running to my car, but I heard a calm voice say to me, be still.
I don’t know what made me trust the voice, but I did – even though I was terrified.
After the last car pulled out of the parking lot, I heard the sound of a motorcycle nearby.
Would you believe that my hubby had gotten off of work early, and when he noticed I wasn’t home, he went to the spot that he believed I would be?
When I saw his motorcycle pull into that parking lot, I swear to you I felt like the heavens opened up and like angels started singing. I felt completely safe and protected. I knew that my husband wasn’t going to let anything happen to me. I always feel safe around him, and all of my anxiety and tension eased right up.
I smiled from ear to ear as I saw my knight in motorcycle armor walk across the grass towards me.
When he got to me, he said, what’s wrong with a smile on his face, and then looked in the direction of the two people that were standing their staring in my direction.
I said, nothing, you’re right on time, and then told him about the behavior of the two people.
After they saw us interacting, the two people walked away. You would too if you saw how big he is. He is kind of big in stature, but my hubby’s presence is big too, and he has the heart and strength to match it. So I wasn’t worried at all after he showed up.
I could not believe the timing of it. I felt so watched over, protected, and guided, and it was an experience that I will never forget.
I share this story because I have been feeling a little disconnected lately. I forgot how good it feels to recall all the times when I did feel aligned and connected. It works wonders for getting the energy and focus moving in a different direction.
If you feel stuck, try it. Try to recall the moments when you did feel aligned and connected. Once you start to change your thoughts, you’ll start to recall more and more moments, and it will change your mood completely.
